     SKILL ACQUISITION GUIDE

     GENERAL OVERVIEW
     🏴☠ Users have a set amount of slots for skills based on their rank. New skills can either be bought or trained. Purchases require beli, while training necessitates a dedicated roleplay.

     ACQUISITION COSTS
     🏴☠ The cost to acquire a skill is as follows:
     D-Rank Skill Price: 50,000 Beli
     C-Rank Skill Price: 100,000 Beli
     B-Rank Skill Price: 150,000 Beli
     A-Rank Skill Price: 200,000 Beli
     S-Rank Skill Price: 250,000 Beli

     TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
     🏴☠ The word count for training a skill is:
     D-Rank Skill: 500 Words
     C-Rank Skill: 750 Words
     B-Rank Skill: 1,000 Words
     A-Rank Skill: 2,000 Words
     S-Rank Skill: 4,000 Words

     SPIRIT INFLUENCE
     🏴☠ The number of words required to train a skill is influenced by the Spirit attribute.

     REGISTRATION PROCESS
     🏴☠ Register a skill by posting in the forum's Training section using the designated template.

     SPELL SLOTS
     🏴☠ Ensure you have the required slot to learn the skill.

     MODERATION
     🏴☠ After posting, await moderator review to ensure compliance with the guide.

     PURCHASE OR TRAIN
     🏴☠ Declare whether you're buying the skill or training for it.

     PURCHASE PROCEDURE
     🏴☠ Upon purchase approval, beli are deducted and the skill moved to the approved section. A 24-hour refund is available unless used to fight.

     TRAINING PROCEDURE
     🏴☠ Approved training involves a dedicated topic. Multi-skill training in one topic is permitted.

     GROUP TRAINING
     🏴☠ Training can occur solo or with others, but focus must remain on mastering the skill.

     TRAINING COMPLETION
     🏴☠ Link your completed training in the skill topic for moderator review.

     FINALIZATION
     🏴☠ List your skill in your Character Sheet linking to the approved topic to officialize it.

     SKILL GUIDE

     BASICS

     🏴☠ Skill Dimension: The maximum dimension of a skill is dependent on its rank, and are as follows:
     D-Rank Maximum Dimension: 0.25-Meter Diameter
     C-Rank Maximum Dimension: 0.5-Meter Diameter
     B-Rank Maximum Dimension: 1-Meter Diameter
     A-Rank Maximum Dimension: 2-Meter Diameter
     S-Rank Maximum Dimension: 4-Meter Diameter

     🏴☠ Skill Origin: Skills that do not originate from the user, but from a target location will need the time required to travel from the user towards the intended location before it is activated. A skill indication will appear at the intended location for the duration it takes to activate.

     🏴☠ Area of Effect: Skills that are not projectiles, cones, or even direct lines but instead cover a radius will be considered AoE skills. AoE Size: The maximum area an AoE skill can cover is limited by its rank, and are as follows:
     D-Rank AoE: 1-Meter Diameter
     C-Rank AoE: 2-Meter Diameter
     B-Rank AoE: 4-Meter Diameter
     A-Rank AoE: 8-Meter Diameter
     S-Rank AoE: 16-Meter Diameter
     You may increase the size of your skill's AoE to that of the next rank, but its power will be reduced by one rank.

     🏴☠ Movement: AoE skills cannot move in their AoE state. Skills that become AoE on impact are allowed to move.

     🏴☠ Multiple Targets: AoE healing, supplementary, other-buff, and debuff skills that affect multiple targets must pay the stamina cost for each target affected.

     🏴☠ Skill Speed: Area of Effect skills have a flat speed of 20 m/s, Single-Target skills have a flat speed of 30 m/s. The user may not control the speed of any aspect of the skill. Movement skills do not follow the flat skill speed and are explained under the Mobility section.

     🏴☠ Skill Trajectory: All skills move in a trajectory described in the skill description upon casting. You may control the trajectory of your skill after casting it instead of giving it a pre-defined trajectory. If you choose to do that, the skill must be sustained and it will cost double the stamina. This must be mentioned clearly when applying for the skill. The control cannot be done in your mind and will require obvious hand gestures.

     🏴☠ No skill can be homing to the target without a homing modifier.

     🏴☠ Skill Cast Motions: All skills must have a visible cue or aura to activate; motionless skills are not allowed. The motions must be deliberate and visible; something insignificant such as ‘raising an eyebrow’, ‘clenching teeth’, ‘taking a breath’, etc., will not be accepted. The motion must also make the target of your skill obvious. You may not choose the target using your mind.

     🏴☠ Skill Range: The maximum range of a skill is dependent on its rank. When the skill reaches its maximum range or if the user leaves its range, it will lose its power and rapidly fade out.
     D-Rank Range: 5 Meters
     C-Rank Range: 10 Meters
     B-Rank Range: 15 Meters
     A-Rank Range: 20 Meters
     S-Rank Range: 25 Meters

     🏴☠ Stamina Cost: Stamina is the resource you need to cast a skill. The amount of stamina required to cast a skill is dependent on its rank, and are as follows:
     D-Rank Stamina Cost: 25 Stamina
     C-Rank Stamina Cost: 50 Stamina
     B-Rank Stamina Cost: 100 Stamina
     A-Rank Stamina Cost: 200 Stamina
     S-Rank Stamina Cost: 500 Stamina

     🏴☠ Cooldown: All skills must have a cooldown. It is the number of your posts that you must wait before you can use that skill again. The cooldown for a skill is dependent on its rank, and are as follows:
     D-Rank Cooldown: 1 Post
     C-Rank Cooldown: 2 Posts
     B-Rank Cooldown: 3 Posts
     A-Rank Cooldown: 4 Posts
     S-rank Cooldown: 5 Posts

     🏴☠ Stamina Cost Reduction: It is possible to get a stamina cost reduction via Spirit or items, for example. The maximum reduction that can be achieved is capped at 75%.

     🏴☠ Cooldown Reduction: The maximum reduction for Cooldown is 4 posts. The minimum cooldown that can be achieved on any skill is 0, at which point it may be cast once per post. This is with the exception of A-Rank and S-Rank skills which can have 1 and 2 post cooldown as a minimum respectively.

     🏴☠ 'None' Cooldown: Some training in the shop may have skills with 'None' as a cooldown. In this case, the skill can be cast multiple times on the same post, if the user wishes.

     🏴☠ Sustain: Skills that last longer than one post, must be sustained. You must pay the stamina cost of the skill for every post the skill is sustained.

     🏴☠ Friendly Fire: Unless a skill is intended to coat the user, skills will harm the user as well if they're hit by it.

     🏴☠ Skill Damage Buff: Skill damage cannot be buffed with another skill.

     SKILL-TYPES GUIDE

     GENERAL
     🏴☠ The forum recognizes multiple skill types: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary, Buff, Debuff, Healing.
     🏴☠ Creating a skill that utilizes more than one type is not permitted.
     🏴☠ Skills are classified into five different ranks: D, C, B, A, S.

     OFFENSIVE
     🏴☠ When skills clash, the overpowering skill's damage is reduced by the damage of the weaker, with the remainder affecting the target.
     🏴☠ For example, when an A-rank and B-rank skills clash, the A-rank skill is reduced by B-rank in damage and the remainder goes through.
     🏴☠ Equal ranked offensive skills nullify each other.
     🏴☠ Skills can be split, with the smallest split being 1x D-rank. An A-rank can split into multiple smaller ranks accordingly.
     🏴☠ Offensive Sustained Non-AoE skills disappear upon hitting a target.

     DEFENSIVE
     🏴☠ Defensive skills can withstand twice their rank in damage. A B-rank wall can hold back 1x A-rank damage.
     🏴☠ Defensive skills are stationary, except for wieldable shields of 1 by 1 meter.
     🏴☠ Clashes between offensive and defensive skills result in various outcomes based on their respective strengths.

     BUFFING
     🏴☠ Buffing comes in Other-Buffing, Self-Buffing, and Debuffing.
     🏴☠ Buffs do not stack from the same source. The strongest buff from each source applies.
     🏴☠ Constitution cannot be buffed or debuffed.
     🏴☠ Attribute increases depend on the skill rank, from +5 points for D-rank to +80 points for S-rank.

     HEALING
     🏴☠ Only characters and mascots with Doctor capabilities can use healing skills.
     🏴☠ Healing skills restore damage to targets but cannot be self-applied or sustained.

     SUPPLEMENTARY
     🏴☠ Supplementary skills cover various utilities not included in other types, like walking on water or high jumps. They must align with the user's supernatural training.

     SENSORY GUIDE

     Sensory Skills
     🏴☠ This section provides guidance for skills that enhance, disrupt, or cloak senses. Devil Fruits bestow the majority of abilities not detailed herein.
     
     Thermal Sense
     🏴☠ Thermal Sense lets you detect temperature changes. Activation swaps normal sight for a thermal spectrum—red signifies warmth, blue indicates cold. It’s useful for spotting living beings by heat signatures, even in the dark. Only the user can cast this skill. The detection radius depends on skill rank:
     🏴☠ D-Rank: 5m
     🏴☠ C-Rank: 10m
     🏴☠ B-Rank: 15m
     🏴☠ A-Rank: 20m
     🏴☠ S-Rank: 25m
     
     Seismic Sense
     🏴☠ Seismic Sense detects ground vibrations, sensing movements upon the earth. The caster must touch the ground to feel these vibrations. The skill’s range is as follows:
     🏴☠ D-Rank: 5m
     🏴☠ C-Rank: 10m
     🏴☠ B-Rank: 15m
     🏴☠ A-Rank: 20m
     🏴☠ S-Rank: 25m
     
     Vibration Sense
     🏴☠ Vibration Sense perceives air currents' minute disturbances, allowing the sensing of movement within a range. Silent entities evade this sense. Here’s the radius based on skill rank:
     🏴☠ D-Rank: 5m
     🏴☠ C-Rank: 10m
     🏴☠ B-Rank: 15m
     🏴☠ A-Rank: 20m
     🏴☠ S-Rank: 25m
     
     Blind & Deafen
     🏴☠ Blind and Deafen skills impair sight and hearing, respectively. They’re potent and only A- or S-Rank. Half-effect (A-) leaves targets with silhouettes and muffled sounds, full-effect (S-Rank) plunges them into darkness or silence.
     
     Scentless
     🏴☠ Scentless skills mask your scent, hiding your presence. Only self-cast, these skills range from diffusing your scent to complete concealment at A- or S-Rank.

     MOBILITY GUIDE

     Mobility Skills
     🏴☠ This guidance pertains to skills that boost or restrict movement.
     
     Glide & Double Jump
     🏴☠ Glide skills come from B-Rank or above skills. Your gliding height matches the skill rank:
     🏴☠ A-Rank: 10m
     🏴☠ S-Rank: 15m
     
     Knock-Back & Bind
     🏴☠ Knock-Back skills repel a target as far as the skill’s range or AoE. Binds restrict a single target, breakable by having the Spirit equivalent to Skill Strength (ex: 121 for S-rank) or spending equivalent stamina to the bind’s cost.
