1.b. Roleplay and Travel Guide

TRAVEL   To journey from one Sea (ex: East Sea to South Sea) to another, one must engage in travel. This process reflects the passage of time and is not immediate. Upon arriving in a new Sea, one cannot join ongoing topics until they have created the travel topic. A solitary presence is permitted per Sea at any given time (ex: only roleplay within islands in South Sea). Free movement within a Sea is allowed, provided all threads are concluded before embarking to a new one. A travel post must consist of a minimum of 200 words, starting from the Sea of departure to the destination. This word count supersedes the usual minimum for roleplay posts.OTHER COUNTRIES One may enter islands listed under 'Other Isles' without concluding their ongoing topics in the mainstream Seas. There's no need for travel to step into these extra islands. Five additional roleplay slots are granted for activities in Other Isles, which do not impact the existing slots in the regular Seas. Presence is restricted to one Other Isle at a time. Completion of all topics in the current Isle is necessary before starting new ones elsewhere. Unless possessing special devil fruits, one's roleplay is confined by the Sea and Isle. However, events usually offer extra slots for roleplay. Characters are limited to a single serious topic at a time, determined by the first to acknowledge hits. Exploitation of this rule through metagaming will incur penalties. The concept of travel routes is a future incentive, to be introduced through exploration of the world. |

ROLEPLAY GUIDE ROLEPLAY A minimum of 150 words is needed for a roleplay post to be acceptable. Roleplay posts that need you to roll must meet the 150-word minimum. Cheating the system by not adhering to these rules will result in a beli deduction. In socials, dialogue contributes to the word count but must not surpass 50% of the post. Each individual can engage in 10 topics concurrently within the same Sea. This allows for diverse activities like voyages and social gatherings. Exiting a Sea means no new topics there, though ongoing ones can be finished. Double posting in a topic is not permitted unless skipping a roleplayer inactive for 48 hours. Post edits are forbidden without consent from your roleplay partner(s), especially in combat, to maintain fairness. Avoid metagaming. Roleplay based on what your character knows, not what you do. Posts should be paragraphed for readability. Posts under 300 words need not be paragraphed, but longer ones should be divided appropriately. Skills or items must be forum-approved before use in a topic. |
